Oil Burner Technican Course
Are you in search of a new career opportunity? Look no further! Van Buren Adult Ed & Van Buren Regional Tech Center presents its 160-hour oil burner technicians course. This comprehensive program equips you with the essential knowledge and skills to expertly service and install oil burning appliances. Upon completion, you will gain eligibility to take the State of Maine Journeyman 1&2 oil up to 15GPH exam, taking you one step closer to your desired career. The cost of tuition is $3200.00 + books.
To register and reserve your seat, a non-refundable deposit of $500.00 is required and remaining balance to paid in full on first day of class.
The course will commence on Mondays and Tuesdays from 4-8 PM starting January 2024.

We’re expecting up to a foot of snow but it is not too early to think about reserving your spot in the Van Buren Community Garden! Each 2’ x 4’ bed will be ready for planting as soon as the snow melts and the mud dries. Reserve your bed, free of charge, by calling Van Buren Adult Ed. at 868-5758. If there is no answer just leave a message with your name, address, and phone number and we’ll call you right back! Spring is on it's way so let's get planting!

Would you like to make a difference in a child’s life while earning competitive wages? Children’s Behavioral Health Services are vital to many of Maine’s neediest children and their families. And the need in our area is great!!
As a Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) you will be given the opportunity to make an immediate impact on children's growth and development while working a flexible schedule that meets your needs.
This ONLINE training program will equip you with the skills required to help children who are currently on a waiting list for services. The program can be started at any time and finished at your own pace. The entire training will take about 45 hours. You must be 18 years of age or older upon completion of the course. There is an administration fee of $25.
